On a 1-10 scale, their wedding was definitely a 10. Not only was it physically beautiful, it was seamlessly organized. It flowed naturally at a perfect pace. Everyone's needs were thought of and met. Both adult and children's playful and creative sides were nourished with the bounty of fun toys and treats on the reception tables. The day is a precious memory I will always cherish.

Many years ago, Marilee was the maid of honor for our wedding. Her unofficial role was to "be prepared for everything" - and she was. Her purse contained a thread and needle to repair my dress during the dance, not to mention spare lipstick to redecorate the newlyweds car after the tornado passed through the town during the ceremony (yes, it was an adventurous wedding day). She was not only in charge of braiding my hair, but more importantly, kept other well-meaning members of the family politely out of it. At the rehearsal dinner, she noticed my husband was a bit overwhelmed by the proceedings and managed to say just the right thing to calm him. She even kept the wedding party from committing a misdemeanor (don't ask. Really). To this day people still compliment us on how much fun our wedding was, and Marilee was one of the central people responsible for making it so.

Marilee helped me plan my 70th birthday party and it was a super experience. Our initial planning meeting was face-to-face and that's when we made a list of things to do and parceled them out to all who would be helping. Periodically, we checked on our progress via e-mail.

The big thing for me is that Marilee was my hostess on the day of the party. In addition to directing and helping with the set-up and clean-up, she graciously greeted my guests and, saw that they were included in the festivities. I was "Queen for a Day"!

Birthday parties aren't just for kids! Marilee will help you plan those too, but I encourage you to have Marilee help you celebrate your life at any age. It'll make you wish she were YOUR daughter!

Marilee worked with me for about a year, getting my house organized. No job was too big or too small. We tackled everything from the kids’ games in the family room, to my overflowing closets. She transformed our garage from a disaster to a neat, functional space, and patiently worked through many bins’ worth of receipts to bring my finances into such order that I could finally do my taxes. She even sewed up the torn ear on my daughter’s stuffed dog. To all of these tasks she brought an accepting sense of humor, and a can-do energy that made us call her “a force of nature.” I highly recommend her services to anyone who needs the courage and practical skills needed to face a household out of control.
