Mandalas

“Mandala” is Sanskrit for circle, polygon, community and connection. The traditional Tibetan mandala is illustrated as a palace with four gates. The middle and outer rings represent paths to enlightenment a person needs to walk when seeking the essence. The center is the essence, representing the Divine.

Though the artwork appears to be very symmetrical, it was created by hand. I have heard people speculate that it was computer generated. If you look closely you will notice irregularities and imperfections. These are an artifact of the artist’s hand.
